For your consideration is a darling Easter Postcard titled: "A Joyous Easter." It displays two Victorian style children, one is a girl in a white dress with a frilly trimmed cape & a lovely blue trimmed bonnet. The boy is dressed in his brown short pants, white stockings, dark blue coat & a nice hat on his head. Very precious & the colors are still very vibrant. (This is a unsigned Ellen H. Clapsaddle postcard, also!) It is marked on the back: (A Wolf standing in front of a grid World globe with the large letter W in front of it symbol), Trade Mark. There is writing on the back, a postmark dated , I think 1908 (Very hard to read), and a green Washington one cent stamp. Approx.: 3 1/2"W X 5 1/2"L.
For a paper item that is around a 100 years old, this postcard is in very good, vintage & collectible condition. There is light wear overall from age & use, however! Such as: Light yellowing on the back & lightly scuffed corners & edges. All flaws noted are minor & only mentioned for honest accuracy!
