For your consideration is a vintage late 1800's Victorian Trade Card that displays a lovely young Victorian type girl with flowers in her long auburn colored hair & a white shawl over her shoulders. On the upper part of the trade card & right above her head there is a light yellow type plume curtain with a floral bouquet, a violin & a bottle design in the upper left corner. Under her it reads: Compliments of Hunt's Cure, No Offensive Oder. On the back the titles of each section reads: Cheatham's Bilious Pills, Hunt's Lightning Oil & Cheatham's Cream Balsam, Manufactured By A. B. Richards Medicine Co., Sherman, Texas. It is stamped on the the back bottom: Sold By A.J. Embree, Belton, Texas. (Please see 2nd picture to read the small print.) It is approximately: 3 1/4"W X 5"L.
There is light wear overall from age & use. Such as: yellowing on the back & lightly scuffed corners & edges. The trade card has also been laminated at some time by a previous owner/collector who, apparently, wanted to keep the trade card in good condition. Which is actually has done! Otherwise! All flaws noted are minor & only mentioned for accuracy!
