For your consideration is a very darling vintage Easter postcard titled: "A Happy Easter." It also reads on the front: "Happy may your Easter be, Is the wish that comes from me." It displays a darling little boy/girl with a blue hat on & playing a Egg Guitar. This is a unsigned Ellen H. Clapsaddle postcard. There is writing on the back, a postmark dated 1916, and a green Washington one cent stamp. There is a mark on the back that reads, also: International Art Publ. Co., (World with a Eagle on the top, a ribbon around the world with paintbrushes tucked into it symbol), New York, Phila. The postcard is approximately: 3 1/2"W X 5 1/2"L. (This is one of favorite Clapsaddle postcards! It is so precious & unique!
For a postcard that is 103 years old, it is in very good, vintage & collectible condition. Some light wear overall from age & use. Such as: Light yellowing on the back & lightly scuffed corners & edges. All flaws noted are minor & only mentioned for honest accuracy!
