For your consideration is a vintage Kerr Self Sealing 1 Qt. Mason Jar with a zinc lid. (The zinc lid is a Atlas lid, which is marked on the top as such, and is also marked on the white glass seal on the inside of the lid: Genuine Boyd's Cap For Mason Jar.) The jar was manufactured in 1915 & is marked on the front: Kerr, "Self Sealing," Trade Mark, Mason. It is also marked on the bottom of the bottle: Kerr Glass MFG Co., Sand Springs, Okla., Pat, Aug. 31, 1915, 10. There is bubbles in the glass which was done during manufacturing, etc. The bottle has turned a light greenish-blue transparent color from age & use. It is in very good, vintage, collectible & usable condition. No chips or cracks noted! Approximately: 7 1/4"T (includes lid) X 3 3/4"Rd. (Bottom). The rubber self sealing lid is no longer with the bottle and has been replaced with the vintage Atlas zinc lid.
