For your consideration is a darling vintage postcard titled: "A Merry Christmas." It also reads on the front: "A word of love and kindness, To make you glad and gay, And here's a hearty Greeting, For Merry Christmas Day." It displays a early 1900's little boy pulling a sled with a box on the top. There is a cute little girl in the box holding Christmas gifts. It is signed on the front and right under the hat box: Ellen H. Clapsaddle. It is also marked on the back: (A Wolf symbol with W & Co. next to the symbol, New York - Phila. (The symbol, I believe, is one of the earlier maker's mark for the Wolf Co. There is writing on the back, a postmark dated 1918, and a red Washington 2 cent stamp. It is approximately: 3 1/2"W X 5 1/2"L.
There is very very minor wear from age, such as: lightly scuffed corners., otherwise, it is in very good, vintage & collectible condition. No tears or stains noted!
