For your consideration is a vintage early 1900's Raphael Tuck & Sons' "Halloween" postcard. It displays two Victorian style young boys, in excitement, waiting at the gate with carved pumpkins on the walls on each side of them. They are framed in a gold tone gilding and red trim around the edges. the colors are still very vibrant. There is some writing on the back, a postmark & a Franklin green one cent stamp. The postmark year is covered by the stamp, however, this is a early 1900's vintage postcard marked on the back: Raphael Tuck & Sons' "Hallowe'en" Series Of Postcards No. 174, Art Publishers To Their Majesties The King And Queen. Approx.: 3 1/2"W X 5 1/2"L.
There is some very light wear from age & use, such as: lightly scuffed corners & light yellowing on the back. Otherwise! In very good, vintage & collectible condition. No tears or stains noted. There is some red on the bottom left corner from the red trim overlapping. Part of manufacturing process when made.
