For your consideration is a vintage unused Easter postcard titled: "A Bright & Happy Easter." It displays a darling little Victorian style Dutch boy sweetly looking at the chicken while holding out his hands in a gesture to say: "Where's the eggs?" The nest is empty, so he can't fill his basket! It is signed: Ellen H Clapsaddle. There is also a poem that reads: "Hen dear, hen dear, say what shall I do?, I must send a present and a greeting too. Where have you been hiding all your eggs away?, Hen dear, hen dear, fetch them quick, I pray." The colors are still vibrant & colorful! There isn't any writing or print of any kind on the back. Being this postcard was never used there isn't even a postmark. This postcard, however, is from the early 1900's and is just precious! Approx.: 3 1/2"W X 5 1/2"L.
There is some lightly scuffed corners, light yellowing on the back and a tiny approximate 1/8" tear on the upper left side. All flaws mentioned are minor & only mentioned for accuracy!
