For your consideration is a vintage & hard to find Valentine Postcard within a Card marked both on back of the card & the postcard: Gibson Lines (Symbol). The card, itself, is in a blue color with a heart shape cutout window and "To My Valentine" printed in gold tone below the cutout. The postcard is attached on the inside of the card and the top half of the lovely & colorful lady character dressed to look like a Rose is seen through the cutout . It reads on the postcard: "To My Valentine." In summer sun the poppy glows, My heart is glowing too, My sunny throngs of loving thoughts, And all of them for you." Vintage early 1900's. The postcard is unused, of course, due to it being used in the card. Approx.: 3 1/2"W X 5 1/2"L.
CONDITION: Except for the fact that the postcard is no longer attached to the inside of the card, thus showing parts of the blue paper on the back. However! This is easily remedied by gluing the card back inside. (I will leave that decision up to whomever is its new owner!) Otherwise! It is in very good, vintage, and collectible condition. No tears or stains noted!
