For your consideration is a vintage toy tin Greyhound Bus, Scenicruiser, from the 1950's. It is marked: KTS on one side towards the back & (Daiya in a criss-cross corners diamond shape symbol), Made In Japan, on the opposite side. It is in the design of the old Greyhound 2 tier buses with the white upper top & the dark blue lower top or roof of the bus. It has the word "Express" on the top on the front along with a license plate that reads S115-61. It has 3 black plastic wheels on each side with hubcaps. (One wheel is missing its hubcap!) There is darker plastic window panes in all the very front windows of the bus, also. This is a friction toy and the wheels, etc. all work very well. It is approx.: 4 3/4"T X 13 4/8"L X 3 3/4"W.
CONDITION: This is a used toy and some little boy enjoyed it very much. There is wear from use such as: light scratches here & there, missing hubcap on one wheel, and there is a light dent on the back which raised the back part of the roof a little. Also, there is a cracked windshield on the upper front top of the bus. The plastic window pane is still all there on both, but you have to look very closely to see the cracks in the pane on the left window. (Please check all pictures carefully!) Otherwise, it is in very good, vintage, collectible & still playable condition.
(Check out the nice variety of vintage toys that are available in our shop, also! Thanks!)
