For your consideration is a vintage Brown Drip Pottery Salt & Pepper Set. Each has a wonderful tannish drip design that starts from the top edges & goes down over the upper half of each shaker. Also, there seems to be a very light coating of lustre or lustreware over both, which gives them a little more shine. Both have a single 2 1/8"L handle & there is a raised P on the pepper and S on the salt. Both have replacement cork stoppers on the bottoms, also. There is a manufacturer's silver tone foil label on the bottom of the Pepper, but it is very worn and impossible to read. Approx.: 3 1/2"T. each.
CONDITION: There is some light sticky looking, but not sticky anymore, remnants of tape on the bottoms. Someone may have taped the old corks into place and when removed it left the tape residue. It is very minor and only mentioned for accuracy! The set is in very good, vintage & usable condition. No chips or cracks noted! (Please excuse any white spots or glare on the shakers in some of the picture. This was caused by the camera flash and is not a permanent mark.)
