For your consideration is a vintage "A Merry Christmas" postcard from the early 1900's. (There is a stamped postmark on the back, but it is very hard to read the year, but this postcard is from the early 1900's!) The colors are vibrant in reds, light to darker blue, silver tone colored print & trim, etc. It reads right above Santa's head: "The world is mine, this night I think, Said Jolly St. Nick with a knowing wink. For the Children all say that wherere I stop, I leave pretty presents fresh from the Shop." The back has writing on it, a stamped postmark and green 1 cent stamp. It is marked on the left back side: Kris Kringle Series No. 1. Approx. 3 1/2"W X 5 1/2"L.
CONDITION: Except for some lightly scuffed corners and yellowing on the back, which is to be expected of a vintage item that is about a hundred years old, such as this one is, it is in very good, vintage & collectible condition. No tears or stains noted! This postcard, apparently was in a scrapbook at one time because of the darker yellowed corners on the back. All flaws are minor and only mentioned for accuracy!
