For your consideration is a vintage 1940's Bartlett-Collins Red Trim & Line Design Pillar Optic Ribbed with Squared Base 10"Rd X 5"D Glass Serving/Mixing Bowl. (This bowl is very similar to the Hazel Atlas Pillar Optic Ribbed with Squared Base Bowl. Please see page 137 of "The Hazel Atlas Glass ID & Value Guide" by Cathy & Gene Florence, copyright 2009 for more information. This bowl is not pictured in the book, but there is some information pertaining to Bartlett-Collins' bowls mentioned.) Many people first think that this bowl was made by Hazel Atlas, which was made in the 1930s, however, this bowl was made by Bartlett-Collins in the 1940s & it came in 3 different sizes: 6", 8", and 10".
Except for some light scratches on the red trim, and a tiny red dot on the bottom base that was done during the manufacturing and is the same color has the trim, this bowl is in very good & vintage condition. No chips or cracks noted!
