For your consideration is a vintage embossed Patriotic postcard that displays Washington kindly feeding his horse & framed in a gold tone depiction of the head of a metal ax with brightly colored cherries, red white & blue emblems & stars. It reads on the back: Washington Birthday Series No. 2. There is writing on the back along with a postmark dated 1912. Except for the usual wear such as: light discoloration on the back & two lightly scuffed corners & edges. The other two corners, both on the left side, show a little more scuffed than the other two. Not too bad & only mentioned for accuracy! This postcard is in very very good & vintage condition. No tears or stains! Approx.: 3 1/2"W X 5 1/2"L.
