For your consideration is a darling & vintage Valentine postcard that reads on the front: "If you miss the lace paper, be sure none the less, My true heart goes to in all tenderness." It displays a 1920's style little girl & boy cuddling together on a bench. The colors are still vibrant & colorful! It is marked on the back: Whitney Made, Worcester, Mass. There is writing on the back, a postmark dated 1923 & a green Washington 2 cent stamp. Approx.: 3 1/2"W X 5 1/2"L.
For a postcard that is 96 years old, it is in very good, vintage & collectible condition. It shows some light wear from age & use, however! Such as: Light yellowing, a very light crease on the upper right corner & lightly scuffed corners & edges. Also! There is a very light black ink smudge on the left side of the girl on the front. This was caused by the black ink from the post office stamp. All flaws noted are very minor & only mentioned for honest accuracy!
