A fine Dresden hand painted porcelain plaque, "Penitent Magdalene" by L. Sturm, circa 1900. The hand painted plaque depicts Mary Magdalene draped in a blue velvet garbs and reading. After the original by Antonio da Correggio. Dresden marks to the verso and artist signed L. Sturm. Mounted to a gilt wood plaque with figural cherub faces to the corners.
