The charming yellow/green ground with gilt borders and gilt encrusted and enamel designs around the rim. The center of the plate depicts a beautiful hand painted image of a cheerful monk pouring himself a drink. During this time, monks were often depicted drinking. The Royal Vienna beehive mark to the underside base. Weight Approx., 1 lbs
