A stunning late 19th century Art Nouveau sterling silver vase with an embossed floral silhouette to two sides, the face with hand applied enamel decoration, a rarely seen technique by Gorham. Three color enamel consisting of green vines with yellow and cobalt blue petals. An all-over bruised and textured effect with subtle rust, a flared top with rolled rim, and a gold washed interior.
Impressed makers mark for Gorham Manufacturing Company to underside, sterling, 1611M (model number) as well as the date character for 1897.
