This is a very vintage hand crafted brooch of sterling silver with leaves and flowers nestled around pear shaped amber cabochons. The design elements are set on a chubby crescent silver frame. The amber pieces have natural inclusions and a couple of "dimples" as can be seen in the photos (please use zoom feature). This very artistic brooch is 2 1/2 inches long on the diagonal and weighs 22.6 grams and it is in excellent vintage condition! The long pin closure is hand made from spring metal and it fits nicely into the "C" type loop. There is heavy purposely made oxidation on the back of the brooch as well as some lighter oxidation on the front.

After doing quite a bit of research I'm guessing this brooch is Polish made. It is a beautiful piece with lots of presence and character. It will arrive carefully packed and wrapped in a pretty gift pouch. Email questions are always welcome.
