This is a splendid example of William Hobe's sterling silver bow and floral brooches, highly detailed, skillfully constructed and handcrafted by his artisans during WWII. The center stone is a lively well-cut topaz color glass, 11 mm in diameter. There is the teeniest nip on the table edge of the stone, really not visible except with a jeweler's loupe. The rollover clasp works perfectly and the entire brooch/pin is in excellent condition.
This is a highly collectible piece with the original warm patina and highlights in all the right places from wear ( I don't polish vintage jewelry). The dimensions are 2 3/4" horizontally by 2" high and 3" on the diagonal. This beautiful brooch will arrive securely packaged in a pretty gift pouch!
Weight is 33.3 grams.
