Stunning chunky vintage necklace of bakelite beads including transparent applejuice and opaque amber/brown/black colors. All beads have tested positive for bakelite with Simichrome except the last yellowish bead at the end of the drop.....probably resin. There are hand made silver tone beads, filigrees and solids which have acquired a dark patina from age.....lovely! This wonderful necklace is 24 inches long with an additional 3 inch drop and weighs 74 grams. A chain extension can be added for extra length. The largest bead is on the drop section is at 1 1/8inches by 3/4 inch (29mm x 19mm).
