Brass picture frame measuring 3"x5" with elaborate boarders of Art Nouveau design with the marking "OVINGTON BROTHERS" and "MADE IN FRANCE" on the back support.

Ovington was a New York importer of high-end housewares started in the mid-1800s. Although we cannot determine the exact age of this item we know it was made before 1920, because at this point in time the company changed how its merchandise was marked.

There is wear appropriate with the age of this item including some minor chips along the outer edges of the glass.
