This Societe-Ceramique wall plaque from Maastrict Holland is very rare. A pottery was founded in 1851 by Winand Nicolaas Clermont and Charles Chainaye in the Maastricht neighborhood Wijck and became Societe-Ceramique in 1859. They were a major competitor to Petrus Regout's company, with whom they merged in 1958. The plaque measures 3.5 inches x 6 inches and has a piece of metal wire wound through two holes and twisted into a hanger.
