Bonjour from The Loire Valley,
Fabulous antique Royal dux vase bisque that dates from the late 1800, early 1900 Art Nouveau Era. The Royal Dux factory, a Bohemian porcelain brand, was illustrated at the beginning of the 20th century by its Art Nouveau style. It features a Young man covered with a piece of fabric with a lioness at his feet . He is playing with lyre music instrument and the piece is flourish branch and leaves decor in the typical Art Nouveau design.
It is signed in the back with an X for Xavier Raphanel, it has the famous raised pink triangle Royal Dux stamp and numbered 2417. This is a somptuous antique piece that would be perfect for any inspiration home.
In good condition, note a small shard in the top but almost unnoticeable because it has been previously repainted in the same color.
Measurements 31cm/12.2" height, 15cm/5.91" large. The circular base diameter is 12.5cm/4.92".
