This is a good starter reference book for anyone interested in British Biscuit Tins. It was written by M.J. Franklin and published 1984 by the Victoria & Albert Museum. (one of my favorite London museums). The introduction gives the history of decorative tins with many of the major manufacturers described. The pages are beautiful photographs of groups of tins with names, dates, and Manufacturers A catalogue of manufacturers is listed in alphabetical order in the back. Through out the book the evolution of tin making is described. The book is a hard-back with 69 pages, 32 color plates with multiple tins. It measures 7 1/2" x 10". Very good condition..
