This biscuit tin is made like a hump back trunk with its brass corners, strapping, and locks. It is a black or dark blue with red. The tin measures 4 3/4" x 3" x 3 1/2". The bottom is marked Carr's & Co's Carlisle Biscuits. It has a hinged lid. There is wear and oxidation. Otherwise in good condition. A second tin in similar condition without the Carr's mark has sold. This tin was made in 1903 by Hudson, Scott, & Sons. It was used by more than one biscuit company.
