During the early 20th century British Biscuit tins were often made to resemble fine furniture. This is the case with this biscuit tin by Jacob & Co. biscuits. The shape is that of a Jacobean Log Box. The sides simulate wood in a linen fold design. The top is embossed brass with a rural scene with people, dogs, and pigs in front of a cottage. The tin measures 7 1/2" x 4" x 4 1/2". Good used condition. I have recently purchased a second tin in even better condition. The price is for a single tin. You may purchase 1 or both.
