This oval pedestal bowl has a gorgeous enameled botanical design in the middle. The dark cobalt blue is the base and the color of some leaves. The flowers are pink and red. The bowl has a gilded cobalt blue band around the scalloped edge. There is a green band and a basketweave band. There are cut and moulded handles on each end. The bowl measures 8 3/4" x 11 1/4" x 2 1/4" tall. The bottom has an impressed mark, OPAQUE PORCELAIN. There is also a printed square mark. The is a mid 19th century mark of the Charles Meigh Old Hall Staffordshire pottery. This bowl is in excellent condition.
