This early Staffordshire figure measures 7 1/2" tall. I was told this was a prince and a princess. It is a man holding a top hat and a woman with her bonnet over her arm. He is wearing a cobalt coat. She a a lovely long turquoise skirt. The base has a gilt stripe. This piece has a couple of problems. The gent's head has been broken off and repaired. The woman has a tiny chip from her nose. Still lovely serene piece.
