This 9" plate has a detailed transfer printed design with flow blue and polychrome decoration. The edge of the plate has a Greek Key band. The rim has flowers with flow blue, green, and red. There is another band with geometric design. The center is botanical with large flow blue color. The bottom is marked VESPER. There are two impressed round marks. Not sure what these are. The tag on the plate when I bought it reads J. Ridgeway, Sparks & Ridgeway 1873-9. I do not know if this is correct or not. I do know that Ridgway, Sparks & Ridgway has no "e" and the date of the company is 1873-9. This plate has no chips or cracks. There is some wear.
