Over 40 years ago I built my home. I designed my kitchen around German Blue & White Deltware. I still live in that house and still love my kitchen delft decor. I say this because this design has stood the test of time both in my home and many country home magazines. Sets of canisters, spice jars, and salt boxes were all used in kitchens of the first half of the 20th century. This is a TEA canister with the traditional blue design of sail boats and windmills. The shape is not straight-sides. There is a rounded area at the top. It measures 8" tall (including lid) 4" wide and 3 1/2" deep. The label TEA is in black. The lid has a blue stripe around the front and two sides. This canister has been broken and pieces glued. It still displays quite well.
