This square biscuit tin is beautifully shaped with with curved sides and embossed lid. The tin measures 6 1/2" square and 3" deep. The lid has an embossed array of fruit and a crystal pedestal bowl. The sides are decorated with nuts and fruit. The background is magenta. This tin has some oxidation, but overall it is in exceptional condition. The colors are very bright. The identification is a bit more difficult. This tin design was made by Barringer, Wallis & Manners 1910-1920 for several biscuit companies. There are no marks whatsoever. A similar tin I have listed had a partial paper label.
