I would like to call this piece of fruit, mystery fruit. It is oval and has black indentations like seeds. I have seen these labeled as strawberries. It is quite large for a strawberry and the color ranges from green, yellow-gold, to rosy pink. I have also seen it called a pineapple. But this one has no pineapple top or any evidence there ever was one. So call it what you want. It is approximate 3" tall and in very good condition.
