Title Page from Victorian Photograph Album, PRIMROSE

This title page is a color lithograph in an Aesthetic design. Some photograph albums from the period of 1880-1920 have very decorative color mats or frames. This is the title page from one of these albums. It has a vase of Primrose flowers with a design band. The band has "Presented to." with no name. There is also a line of Wordsworth poetry. "Long as there's a sun that sets, Primroses will have their glory.". The cardboard page measures 7 1/2" x 10 1/8". There is light soil.
