This early colored print is framed and matted in a modern attractive frame. The image is of a hummingbird, Trochilus Moschitus (Ruby Crested Humming Bird) Native of West India Islands. It is identified as Plate 11 and the artist as Lizars. This indicates the print itself is probably out of a book. Lizars lived 1788-1859. The overall size is 9 1/2" x 11 1/2".
