This large pitcher is pottery and molded with lots of definition. The glaze is an off-white. The shape and style are very much like majolica. It does lack the color of most majolica. The handle as well as the body all have tree bark, branch, knot-hole designs. There are no marks. No chips or cracks. It is heavily stained. The pitcher measures 6 1/2" tall and 5 3/4" in diameter. It is English. I wish I could identify it further, but I am at a loss. Quite attractive and unusual.
