Time for a cup of tea in the garden? This tea pot was meant to be used and was used. It can still be used today. It has a black glaze with gilded decoration. The gilding is somewhat worn. The teapot is in very good condition. The lid does have some chips. One is on the edge and can be seen with in place. The others on on the underside. There are no makers' marks. The teapot measures 10" from tip of spout to handle outside. With the lid, it measures 7" to the top of the finial.
