This oil painting is painted on canvas board and framed in a gold and bronze colored wood frame. The overall size of the painting with frame is 22 1/2" x 12 5/8". The blue birds and the lovely pink flowers are characteristic of the late 1800's. There is no signature on the painting. Documentation on the back talks about Charles Roberson & Co Painting materials. It calls out the artist Sir John Millais as using these artist materials since the 1850's and showing paintings during exhibition of 1886. It never actually says that Millais is the artist, but the signature and documentation implies it. The painting and frame are in excellent condition.
