This set of soup plates are large, each plate measuring 10 1/2" in diameter. The design is classical geometrics with small flowers. There is a very worn gilded rim. Each soup is marked with a banner and the pattern name BOSTON. The initials S.H. appear under the banner. This is a mark of the Sampson Hancock & Sons potter, 1858-91, There are no chips or cracks, but each is heavily crazed. The price is for the 3 plates.
