CASTELAR was a pattern of dinnerware made by T. & R. Boote, Waterloo Staffordshire England Pottery. The pottery closed in 1906. I have seen this pattern in brown as well. This is a set of 5 dinner plates, 10" in diameter. The edge has a raised mold design and very worn gilding. It is decorated with a small green floral design. The bottoms are marked CASTELAR. 3 of these plates are in very good condition with wear expected for the age. 2 of the plates each has a single chip on the edge, pictured. The price is for all 5 plates. I will be listing other pieces of this set separately.
