This figure is classified as a theatrical figure. It originally was one of a pair, the other being Tom King. He is mounted on Horseback. The name is on the base. They originate from the Sampson Smith Factory and probably made after 1870. It is pictured on page 268 of "Victorian Staffordshire Figures 1835-1875 Book One" by A. & N. Harding. There is a small chip on the base. The color is very vivid. It measures 8 3/4" tall.
