This lovely tin is lithographed to imitate fine wood furniture with the shell inlay motif. Usually I think of this type tin being used for biscuits in the early 20th century. This one originally contained Mansion Polish for floors, Chiswick Polish Co. Chiswick London. It is rectangular measuring 6 1/2" x 4 1/4" x 3 1/2". The tin does have some spots of oxidation, but displays quite well.
