This framed and matted watercolor painting was done by King B. King of Greenville, TX. He was a popular modern art watercolor artist active in Texas during the 1960's and 70's. This painting was bought at from his estate after his death. King used realistic elements in an abstract setting. Note this painting has the sea shell, drift wood, and sea weed. I particularly like the background which looks like sand on the beach. The colors are very muted. The mat is tan. The frame has the look of drift wood. The painting is signed by King. The overall measurement is 26 3/4" x 33". The watercolor is covered with non-glare glass. There is slight water damage to the mat. Otherwise in excellent condition.
