This vintage tin is shaped like a book. It is just the right shape for storing post cards. Sending post cards was very popular early in the 20th century. Often this were saved as keepsakes. I do not know if this is a biscuit tin or a sweets tin for there is no indication of product. This tin has an Art Nouveau design with castle ruins. The colors are orange and green. The tin shows wear, but still has good color and working hinges. It measures 4 1/4" x 6 1/4" x 1 1/2".
