This lovely tin has a beautiful curvy shape. The background is hunter green with tiny gold flowers. The top has scene from a fable of Jean de la Fontaine. The monkey persuades the cat to pick the roasted chestnuts from the open fireplace. The top is marked Marque Deposee. Font and back has the label Marrons Glaces Cholvy Privas. The tin measures 7" x 4 1/4" x 2 3/4". There is minor wear. Very good condition.
