This vintage British confection tin was made for John Buchanan & Bros. Limited of Glasgow Scotland. The tin box was made to simulate a fine wood chest with inlay. The lid has a shell motif. The stinging around the top edge has fan shell in each corner. There are two drawers with stinging inlay. and faux brass back-plates. The tin measures 8 5/8" x 6" x 5". There are some scratches and wear. The top is dented in a bit. Really in nice presentable condition. The Buchanan advertising is on the bottom.
