This early tin has no visible marks. Another tin of similar shape, size, and age is marked with the biscuit manufacturer Barringer Wallis & Manners. I would date this tin circa 1910. Although it is not marked it was possibly used by the Chiltonian Biscuit Company. It is the same size and shape as ITALIAN LANDSCAPE. The colors are blue with vivid oranges and yellows of the sunsets. The images are Dutch seaside images of fisherman pulling in their nets and sail boats in the harbor. The tin measures 7 1/2" x 4" x 3 7/8". The top has extensive oxidation. The sides have some scratches. The colors are still quite good. The hinged lid fits tightly.
