This tin was issued by Huntley & Palmers in 1899, made for them by Huntley, Boorne & Stevens. This is one of a series with Morocco and Basket. The tin is embossed with a design. The lithograph colors are red and green with extensive metallic gold. . The tin measure 5" x 7.5" x 6". The handle collapses. The front has an ornate decoration to mimic a lock with a small knob. There is a hasp that fits over the knob. The lid is hinged. There is only minimal wear to the surface. The lid is darkened. The inside is quite rusty. This a a lovely tin.
