This group figure is pictured in Harding's "Victorian Staffordshire Figures 1835-1875 Book Three" on page 192. The figure pictured in the reference book the figure is shown in full color. This figure only has the faces, hair, and shoes colored. The figure has the two women with head scarves, blouses, and aproned skirts. The basket of fish is at their feet on the lower left side. The figure measures 8 3/4" tall. I have never purchased a figure which has had the bottom broken out before. This one does have no bottom. It is quite interesting to look inside at the molding. This is not visible when standing. There is only a short hairline at the base in the back. This figure displays well.
