This flow blue plate has a romantic landscape in the center. There is a large castle or fort in the background. There are people walking their dogs in the woods in the foreground. The border is small flowers and scrolls. The edge is a very dark blue. The plate measures 10" in diameter. The bottom is marked Gater, Hall & Co. with the pattern name. (Fortaleza). The plate dates from 1899-1907. There are no chips or cracks. Very good condition.
