This large tin measures 9 1/4" x 5 1/4" x 5". The tin is lithographed with a faux inlay wood finish. The top has a raised rectangle. This is framed with an intricate design of lighter wood inlay. The front has an oval stringing. The ends of the tin have an advertising logo of Hall's State Toffee, Best of All. The lid is hinged. More advertising inside the lid. There is a lift-out tray for pens, pencils, and other desk related item. There are two ink wells. One is original. The other is smaller and a replacement. There is considerable oxidation. The outside is in very nice condition with a small dent on one end of the lid. This tin dates to 1930.
